1. What Dala is

Dala is a creator payments platform that connects South African brands with content creators. Brands fund campaigns by depositing a budget. Creators submit content, which is verified automatically by our technology. Payouts are distributed based on verified engagement.

2. Your account

You must create an account to use Dala. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. For brands

When you create a campaign, the budget you set is secured by our technology for the duration of the campaign. If no creators qualify, your budget is refunded automatically. If you cancel mid-campaign, the refund is processed automatically.

You are responsible for ensuring your campaign requirements are legal, accurate, and not misleading.

4. For creators

By submitting content to a campaign, you confirm that the content is your own, posted from your verified account, and meets the campaign requirements. Submitting content that you do not own or that misrepresents your channel may result in account suspension.

Payouts are calculated automatically based on verified engagement. Dala does not guarantee a minimum payout — your share depends on your performance relative to other creators in the same campaign.

5. How funds are secured

All funds on Dala are secured by our technology — not held in a Dala bank account. Money only moves when content is verified. This process is automatic and tamper-proof. For more technical information, email support@dalahub.xyz.

6. Independent campaigns

Each campaign on Dala represents an independent agreement between the brand and the creators who participate. Dala provides the platform to facilitate it, but is not a party to the agreement. We are not liable for disputes between brands and creators.

7. Platform fees

Dala charges a 6% platform fee on campaign budgets. This fee is deducted automatically at payout time. No fees are charged on refunds.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use Dala to promote illegal content, run fraudulent campaigns, manipulate engagement metrics artificially, or circumvent verification systems. Violations may result in permanent account removal and forfeiture of any pending payouts.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Dala after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
